		<description>Yes, once you quit smoking, you will have a heightened sense of taste and smell, plus your metabolism will slow due to your slower heart rate. Due to these factors, 70% of smokers find they put on some weight after quitting.

But hey, it&#039;s not all doom and gloom. The majority of those who do put on weight after quitting will lose it all after about 6 months. Just hang in there.

It&#039;s so much better to have a few extra pounds than be a smoker.</description>

		<description>I quit on Wednesday.  I am using the patch and fighting the urges.  Trying to eat a lot of fruits and veggies.  I already have the bad cough, irritable and some bathroom issues...but this will be about the 5th time I have quit in 35+ years of smoking.  I am going to make it.  My doctor called in a RX for Clarinix today...</description>
